Night Shelter

The night shelter is run for seven months of the year by a partnership of local churches in Tower Hamlets. Every night of the week the shelter is in a different church and the shelter is run by volunteers. Guests are referred to GrowTH by Tower Hamlets based referral agencies, such as a local GP surgery and a day centre. Guests arriving at the shelter receive a hot dinner and breakfast, a warm bed for the night and the volunteers will often provide activities in the shelter, such as board games or painting. Guests stay in the shelter for up to 28 nights whilst they receive resettlement help from our employed Advocate Workers in securing permanent accommodation.
