We at GrowTH have taken coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously and continue to review our response in line with government guidelines.
When the pandemic first hit in March 2020, all of GrowTH’s shelter guests were given individual rooms in hotels by the Greater London Authority as part of a London-wide effort to provide a safe place to stay for those without a home during the pandemic.
During the winter of 2020/21 and 2021/22, we use a local hotel to provide COVID-safe accommodation to the homeless. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who adapted so well to this new model.
As we gear up to return to the churches for this next season, we will continue to monitor the situation and make changes accordingly.
